Is Quranak free to use?
Yes, Quranak is completely free with no ads and no in-app purchases.
Does the app require an internet connection?
An internet connection is needed to load Quran verses from the Quran.com API. Once loaded, verses are cached for offline reading during your session.
Is my data shared with anyone?
No. All your data (bookmarks, progress, settings) is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect or share any personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Is the Quran text authentic?
Yes. The app uses the Quran.com API which provides the Uthmani script text — the same script used in the most widely verified printed Quran copies worldwide.
How do I bookmark a verse?
While reading a surah, tap the bookmark icon at the bottom of the screen to save your current place. You can also tap any verse number to bookmark a specific ayah.
How do I change the language or font size?
Go to Settings (the last tab) to change the language between English and Arabic, adjust the font size, switch between Uthmani and Indo-Pak script, and toggle dark mode.
Will my progress be lost if I delete the app?
Yes, since all data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app, your reading progress, bookmarks, and settings will be removed.
