Quranak is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Quranak ("the App") is a Quran reading, memorization, and khatma tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:
- No account creation or sign-up is required.
- No names, email addresses, or personal identifiers are collected.
- No location data is collected.
- No usage analytics or tracking tools are used.
- No advertising SDKs or third-party trackers are included.
Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device only using SharedPreferences:
- Reading progress (last surah, ayah, and page read)
- Bookmarks you create
- Memorization (hifz) tracking
- Khatma plan and progress
- Daily reading goal settings
- App preferences (language, theme, font size)
- Notification preferences
This data is never transmitted to any server. It remains entirely on your device and is removed if you uninstall the App.
Network Requests
The App makes network requests solely to the Quran.com API (api.quran.com) to fetch Quran verses and translations. These requests:
- Do not include any personal information.
- Do not include any device identifiers.
- Are standard read-only API calls to retrieve Quran text.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
- Quran.com API — for fetching Quran verses and translations. Their privacy policy can be found at quran.com/privacy.
No other third-party services, analytics, or advertising networks are used.
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is safe for users of all ages.
Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device and no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of data breach from our side. We recommend keeping your device secure with a passcode or biometric lock.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
